Re: Xfoliating body scrub...
Are you talking about those sugar rubs kind of stuff. It works but depends upon the quality. All the solid particles should be small and smooth. rough particles actually destroy your skin. Those partciles, their quantity and quality is what dertmines the price of the scrub (and the lotion base, off course)
Month is a long time for you to wait for results, unless your skin quality is not good
I am saying that cause my wife is a certified skin analyst and she even gives me these scrubs to use and I heard her talking to many ladies about this subject

What results are you trying to achieve.I used this dead sea salts ones sometime ago..I hated it…just too messy and I didnt wanna use it again…One of the things I use is the exfoliating gloves that are good to give a smoother feel to the skin.I know Body Shop aswell as Bath and Body works carry those..As for the scrubs I use the face ones once in a blue moon..

Re: Xfoliating body scrub...
Make sure to moisturize after you exfoliate.. or, you'll just end up with dry, chapped skin...

I just use it on top of my regular body wash so no extra time is used.

well there not exactly sugary stuff all the time, it has small solid particles in which shud get rid off ur dry skin…
im using it becoz, my exma left some dark marks on my skin, i wana get rid of them… …
it will take maybe monthssss to get my real skin back but im gona keep on trying…
Re: Xfoliating body scrub…
Ashi, if you want to even out your skin tone and scrub off the dark marks, i suggest you should use the Murad exfoliating scrub for the body. It’s amazing to say the least. Murad dot com is where you can get more information. I live in the states and I usually buy their products from Sephora here but I see that you’re in UK so I am not sure where you can get them. But just thought I would share my personal experience since it helped me alot!

Home-made Exfoliator Recipe:
While home made exfoliation isn’t uber ground breaking, but here’s an easy recipe for a soft and soothing scrub to exfoliate.
Mix 1 part aloe vera gel with 2 parts of brown sugar and use your fingers to smooth it over for about 30 seconds.
Start with rough spots like your elbows.
Rinse the mixture off with water, and you’ll see and feel results immediately.
She says aloe vera is a great base because it’s also hydrating and has anti-inflammatory properties.
