for a dress with just karhaii wali embroidered patti (no kaam) on the lehnga and no dupatta, dont you think 170k is way overpriced ?
The cost of just making the shirt is more than the cost of making a bridal with a shirt, dupatta and a lehenga full of embroidery. If you like, you can have a look at the close-up of the dress to see the quality of kora and peepal gira employed on the outfit :)
We have made a series of bridal samples for several bridals requested by clients. these samples give a clearer idea as to wat you can expect in terms of quality from the outfit. The first of the sort is a famous bunto bridal that was requested by a client:
the sample we decided to make was of the bottom of the shirt, as that was the heaviest part of the outfit with the most significant design:
The work was in antique gold dabka, with no load underneath and champgne stones set so that the stones don’t look overdone in the outfit. Scallops were given on the bottom, which is a change after a lot of bridals being made with a flat daaman. The price of the bridal shown here came to a total of Rs.185,000, and anyone interested in having it made can get in touch with us to check out what the entire layout of the outfit is like.
Keep checking this thread, as we’ll be introducing new samples of popular bridals made by us! Tomorrow we’ll launch a long post on peepal girah, the technique used primarily by Umar Sayeed, and how it can be employed on various bridals!
