ok well i used to play games a long time ago…now i am looking to buy one system…right now they both are for $199 but xbox gives u three extra games…so tell me which one is the best sytem..which one has the best games..which one has a better future for games…what are pro and con for these system

right now i'd say XBOX. The reason is two words, Splinter Cell.
PS2 has GTA:VC. Gameplay is superb but graphics can't even begin to compete.
I have both so it doesn't matter to me. But if you're a fan of action adventure genre, trust me you'll love Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell. Better than Metel Gear Solid 2. Dolby digital 5.1 sound effects, cutting edge graphics, dramatic story line, great controle and superb gameplay. You can't go wrong.
Unfortunatly Xbox doesn't offer that much good games. So for the long run you'll enjoy PS2 alot. Games like Tomb Raider:AOTD, Devil May Cry 2, Xenosaga will definatly be you're money's worth.
But it just depends on which genre you're a fan of. I just gave you the pros and cons and the best game (imo) of this year Splinter Cell is on the XBOX. Rest is you're decesion.
