Never played Eternal Sonata. I didn’t know about this new release for FF13 and I don’t understand why they’re focusing so much on 13. They need a new game badly. I suppose they are still popular in Japan but in North America I think FF is losing its brand value.

I’m not liking some of the rumors I’m hearing about them. Particularly the one where the next XBox will require a constant online connection.

I’ve also heard that they might lock discs to consoles so you would not be able to sell the game second hand.

FF13 isn’t that popular in Japan either. Its more of the “name”. I admit I only bought it because I liked FF12 knowing that the scenario sucked.
I don’t think think they will do that because there are too many game rental places in the world which means they will lose profit.
Off topic but I’m tempted to buy a PS vita next year but I want them to bring out new colours out

Not that I normally sell games anyway, but my bro and I both have an XBox 360. Many of my friends have one too. That means that we couldn’t lend games either. That’s another rumor that makes upcoming consoles a lot less attractive for me.
