How do you guys feel about backward compatibility? Microsoft announced that in addition to being backward compatible with XBox 360 games, the XBox One may also be backward compatible with original XBox games.
I’d like to see it become a standard feature in consoles. While its lack may not be a deal breaker in the end for me, having it would be great. I’ve still got my games for the original XBox. Though I can also see how this is something that console may manufacturers may want to avoid as it might conflict with their interest in selling older games as digital downloads.

Yep. that would be awesome. Waiting on the xbox one console that comes with xbox 360 backward compatibility. I will buy it then. Till then I am still on my xbox 360

The backward compatibility will be through software updates, so any XBox One will be backward compatible with 360 games.
