X-Men 2
Saw it yesterday, was good fun. A bit long, but it felt like they were trying to introduce too many characters. Best parts: The Beginning in the White House, the "Somethings different about you today" Magneto part, oh yeah the Wolverine fight was real kewl!
On a side note, the movie made an interesting point, about the World not just being divided between mutants and humans, but between those (on both sides) who want war and those who want peace.
I'm catching it tomorrow.

just saw it. Fabulous. The opening scene with nightcrawler left me speechless. Wolverine's lines were totally awesome. The ending really hit me. With Jean metamorphosizing into the all powerful entity, the phoenix. Can't wait for X3. Hope Bryan gets back on the project soon.

aaaah, so she becomes Phoenix at the end. I was wondering cuz she can't die. But Bryan Singer took a 180 degree turn from original comic for morphing jean and pheonex together. In the cartoon and comic jean becomes Phoenix when they're returning from space after their confrontration with magneto in his space colony. Jean sacfrises herself by trying to save the shuttle from the sun radiation and that's when phoenix takes over. This was totally oposite in the movie, however, in comic when pheonix lets go of jean's body she dives into an ocean. Maybe that's how bryan decided to connect these alternate story threads.
In X3 when Jean returns she'll be the dark pheonix not the goodie goodie one that helped the X-Man protect the M'Kran crystal.

If anyone has a chance to see the X-MEN (the movie) Watch very carfully the first 5 MINUTES. Pay close attention to William Stryker who has a Ring with with the name of ALLAH on it.
It can be seen as he signs the document for the President at the White House.
Stryker portrays the villian in the movie. Its sad to see Hollywood once again depicting an negative and unfair image of Islam. His wearing of the ring was not connected with the plot? Its just a slap in the face to Muslims…

all u guys stop talking about it i can’t take it any more…i have been waiting to this movie for months and i didn’t get time to watch it yet…i’ll try to watch it this week
