Have a few questions to ask about wudhu and ghusl. I suffer from a lot of waswasa which i am trying to cure. Could you please answer them with referencing. Your help is really appreciated as this is something that is taking a lot of my time.Thanks.
Wudhu Related:
- In washing my mouth, i gargle but have doubts about whether all of it got wet or not, so it takes me a while to wash through… how do i deal with this?
-
While washing the face, it takes me forever making sure that the water reaches the beginning of the hair roots on my face… how important is this step to make sure absolutely everything is wet?
-
in wudhu, exactly HOW much “behind the ear” do we clean? does the entire ear have to be wiped or just the groove?
-
while washing the arms, is it enough that i pour water on the hand and then wipe over it to make sure everything is wet? or does all of the arm have to have water poured onto it?
I KNOW IT IS WRONG, but it takes me up to 20 min to satisfactorally complete a wudhu… i dont know how to reduce this time
like it’ll take me 1-2 minutes just to make intention, say aozhobilla, bismillah and to translate their meanings in the hearts and then make sure i mean it!
Ghusl:
-
In the many hadith on ghusl, it is emphasised that the roots of the hair have to be wet… exactly how does one make sure absoloutely all of the roots have infact been touched by water? so far, I’d use shampoo with every ghusl to make sure that i touch the roots and then wash… but this is turning out to be detrimental to the health of my hair. If i just pour water with the shower while moving hair around, and i feel that most of the roots probably got wet, then is this sufficient?
-
This is how i do ghusl: is it correct?
- make intention, say bismillah
- wash off the unclean stuff
- wash mouth, nose and ear
- wash hair, hence body gets wet.
