My job is sucking the life out of me. And it’s just hit me that I have like 50 years of this to look forward to… and I’m not allowed to take a break from it for more than 2 weeks at a time…

Dunno… I guess that depends on what country he’s in. If he’s in North America AND SANE, he’ll be asleep in bed… and if he’s in EUrope through to Pakistan, he’ll be at work/studying/in bed /combo of all three…

They flashed more cash at me than I could possibly hope for anywhere else. And now I’ve got an expensive lifestyle and I’m dependent on them. They tell me to jump, I say “How high?” And plus I really needed to work for a big name company… working here gives me a huge ego boost

But I work like a dog. And I got into trouble with my manager a few days ago, so I need to work even more like a dog to impress him and smooth over that rough patch…

Sanity is purely relative… for all we know, YOU could be the insane one

Well my manager was totally right. I screwed up big time. When I went to the states (where it was freaking freeeezing), I acted unprofessional lyby continuing to wear my gloves and jacket in a meeting with about 20 people. Apparently, I pushed "business casual" a little too far....

Oh well. I live and learn. :D
