**Kareena: **“I have never starved,” she said. “Even when I used to work out for size zero for Tashan, I used to eat aloo and gobhi *parathas *daily! It is about looking good, feeling good and being fit. Once you do that, all the boys will automatically like you!”
How many of you are gonna believe her? How the hell do you eat aloo and parathas and get anorexic like she did in tashan . Jhoooti!!! And the last line of her comment is really super odd! So shallow :nono:.
Notice how she ONLY mentioned the paratha in her comment. So, that doesn't tell you what else she would eat during the day. Ho sakta hai that the rest of things she ate during the day were healthier and lower in calories. Or perhaps she just was very active in her workouts. After all....if you burn MORE calories than you consume....you'll lose weight.
Kareena's second comment isn't totally wrong either (and no, I'm not a kareena fan). Guys ARE attracted to girls who feel good about themeslves as it means that the girl has confidence in herself...she can hold her own. If you're confident about yourself and if you're feeling good......you'll exude a positive vibe. People are drawn to happy and confident individuals. This is not confined to guys......it's human nature. And let's face it....in the real world looks do play a role in how people perceive you. Even in a marriage (where you've already gotten the guy/girl), it's advised that both partners try to maintain their physical appearance.
I do not, however, agree with her belief that "ALL" the boys will automatically like you.....as guys have different tastes/requirements and attraction is a complex matter. But her last comment DOES have some general truth to it.
Also, for HER....a "size zero" was what she thought would make her feel good about herself...that was her personal goal/target. In her comments....she never advocated that women NEED to become a size zero in order to be liked by the guys. She was making a general connection between looking/feeling good and attracting the opposite sex. In terms of body size/weight...the goal will vary for each woman.
Yar even if she ate only 1 paratha everyday, it still is too much to get a figure like hers from tashan! Plus she was very toned and it is not possible to achieve that look without totaly giving up on fats or so i believe.
About the second part, yes you are rite but she made it sound a bit weird .
Actually, I don’t find it ridiculous. I’ve read both books by her dietitian Rujuta Diwekar. http://www.rujutadiwekar.com/book.asp
She’s different because she recommends diets that you can sustain all your life, not any of the 7-day weight loss stuff that makes you lose weight but you gain it all back in a month. Her mantra is eating stuff in moderation, portion control, eating smaller meals more frequently, and regular exercise. Nowhere in the book does she state that you cannot eat X type of food.
Since Kareena was her most famous client, Rujuta has given her detailed diet plan during the shooting of Tashan in the book.
It’s listed in the table of contents of her book here http://www.rujutadiwekar.com/book_toc.asp
Yes, it did include parathas. And of course, you cannot forget that most actresses work out WAY more than the average desi woman - so that is a factor as well.
Lucy. You are making me want to get that book now Maybe i should invest in it because if what kareena or her trainer are claiming is true then it’s great :k:.
Maybe I'm missing something but I never found Kareena to be a size zero let alone finding her remotely anorexic, I think she just managed to lose all the baby fat and toned up her body and thats about it.
exactly.....i never found her size zero either.....yup she lost weight (and looked great too with it) but she still had/has the flab and doesnot come under size 0 category at all.
