I went to get a hair cut at the mall today. It turned out really nice..the girl who did it for me was super nice …and I had a nice chat with her! Anyways, I paid using my visa and completely forgot to give tip So I went back to the salon…I only had a 20 dollar bill on me…I gave it to her and clearly asked for$15 back..she took the 20 dollar bill and THANKED ME PROFUSELY! I stood there for a while confused…There were two other people standing beside her..and they said, oh, how generous of you, etc. I stood there waiting for my money back for like i think 10 seconds (which felt like forver) and then just left! I considered asking back for the 15 dollars but this had really turned into a scene already for me to be asking BACK for it. Maybe I should have been more clear.
haha. I am not being cheap but I do feel like a complete idiot.
hahha ooh man I'm picturing it right now !! She's gushing and thanking you and you're like.."uuuhhh can I have $15 back" ** awkward silence ** her: "ooh yea .. sure.. i guess.. i didn't know..
The lady who cut your hair COULD HAVE also calculated the tip and given you back the $15. BUT giving her the benefit of the doubt, she might have just been so elated at you giving her 20 bucks that she didn't think about giving you the change back.
It's alright Pyari. Lesson learned. Next time, you'll just remember to give the tip when you pay for the hair cut. We've all made silly mistakes like that and when you're in public with so many people watching, it becomes challenging to deal with a situation. I remember after I got my hair permed and paid for it, I went back to the salon because I miscalculated my tip. It happens. Don't beat yourself up over it:)
lolzzz poor u …something worse happend with me i went to this cheap makeup store where u get stuff like medor and all and they had a sales girl like u know we have in pakistan who really dont hve the knowlede on makeup but jus to sell te makeup they would say useless things so i was trying to see if they had a concealer i asked her for a lighter shade and she goes “apka rung dark haina tau yahi sahee rahaiga” ( when my complexion is close to fair if not fair) i looked at my mom with ‘wth exprsson’ and she managed to sell me a cheapree lipstick too

on my bday, my friend got me this gift certificate for a salon. you get 4 visits. well on the first visit, i went and they did my hair. the girl was really nice, she got me a drink n all. and i totally forgot to tip her!! as i was pulling out of the parking lot i realized i didn't pay for anything and i forgot to tip herr haha well i'm gonna go for a follow up visit in a few days. so i'll be tipping her double.
