multiple marriages are allowed and men can have upto 4 wives but this statement has lot of other assumptions and conditions if you read it properly then it doesn’t allow men to marry 4 times for pleasure or anything and yes it is not stated that he has to get approval from first wife but it is not advisable if his previous wife is against coz it will cause issues and that to be avoided coz technically a man can only re-marry if he is able to satisfy all the needs to both wives and if his act will hurt or damage the first one then it is a debateable thing…
