This is funny how initially every world leader talks tough against Trump’s bullying and then just simply bend over. Canada arrested the CFO of Huwaei technologies on behest of Americans. I thought Trudeau would have the guts to stand up against Trump but he bent over on trade agreement, so did Mexico and entire EU. How Saudis are bending over is beyond disgusting, after the murder of Khashoggi by MBS he has become a total Trump beech as now Trump has incredible leverage over him and MBS is becoming the biggest sell out of modern history.

As for the subject, its time now that west is identifying how rapidly China has overgrown its gigantic influence all over and if not clipped, it’ll be the ONLY superpower left in next decade. Being the only lender it’ll easily cripple other economies and bring the giants to its knees. So they are trying to push it as hard as possible. Eventually they’ll be unsuccessful as the cat is already out of the bag. The effects of WTO agreements signed in mid 90s are now showing its true colors in the shape of blossomed China.
The arrest of the CFO is no big deal, just a bargaining tactic. She is the daughter of founder of the company so she’ll go unharmed but after a deal is cut, as usual. These are all very short-term steps. Truth is they just cant put a leash on China anymore and west is very frustrated about it.
China ke beti got bail. Lets see if she sticks around as two ex-canadian diplomats have already been sent to prison for “offenses” in China.
Both China and Canada are gutless, US was behind the arrest and if China had balls they should have arrested US citizens.
There is no right or wrong in global geopolitics, its might is right all the way. And to be honest, if I was America and had the power and influence it has, i would have done the same. Other countries are simply servicing the US interests in order to safeguard their relationship with the superpower.

I did little googlie on Huawei and Cisco, the results were very amazing and I got all my answers - Huawei did $100B in revenues when Cisco did $49B during the same period. I also compared some of the product lines and services - I must say I am very impressed with Huawei.
And just to add a little masala for fun, a year or so ago the fastest super kampootar in the universe was made by China with all domestic/Chinese technology, they are now working one a super model which will be 10 times faster.
