WOW look at the heat in this room....give him a break guys. one doesn't need to know the whole quran or study islam in detail to make claims. how many of us have read he entire bible, torah, or hindu scriptures. i myself have taken plenty of classes on religion, and know alot about them, but have never read the books myself. however i might have, if they werent so long, and if i knew which one was authentic, since thats often an issue. there are so many versions, i have no idea where to even begin. now anjaan back o u, lets see..... where to begin.......well for one i dont care if Tony Blair, Bush and Atal Bihari Vajpei say ne thing good or bad about islam, bc they in my eyes r not experts on nething, even their own fields. in fact i look down uopn them, so ne thing they say is like some dog barking to me, no disrespect, just an analogy. and as far as salman rushdi is concerned....oh by the way isnt it interesting that those who regard islam so highly , never converted, and r not even muslims, but the one man who so openly talks about hating islam is a muslim himself? u know in islam even the devil himself worships allah day and night, yet he remains humanities greatest enemy? would i ever consier what the devil has to say about my religion? i dont think so. and where did u hear that salman rushdie is a nobleprize winner? i even looked it up and found nothing. if u can show me atleast two sources, i will have to believe u. he is not even a scholar, his claims are just theories and opinions, without ne proof what so ever. he has a degree only in history, and u want me to compare him to the greatest thinkers that ever lived? yea right. and as for ur little article. ur so called scholar knows nothing. she givs no proof for ne claim. she says that the islamic peace stuff was recently made up in the 1900's, puhlzzzzzzzzz go pick up ne book, going up to thousands of years old, ne old documents if u want, and u will see that the islamic protection of jews and christians was recored long before her grandpa was even born. she thinks shes going to disregard all the work of historians or thusands of years, and make a cliam out of no where. no ownder her book wasnt popular. her lack of knoweldge really shows when she says "countrys todya that have shariah law...", we all know that tere is no country, not even a city, today, or even a household that practices shariah law, sadly but it is true. shes says that jihad is division btwn muslims and nonmuslims, man shes an idiot. i read her other stuff, and once she said that there r three jihads, and one was economic, she didnt even mention internal jihad. there is no such thing. there is only external and internal jihad. and repsecting jews and christians is very well in the quran, ur gal dont knwo what shes talkign about, im not even a schoalr, and i just shut her up. and why do u keep syaing islam produced......islam is not a companay. its a path, it does not produce good or bad followers. no religion does. each person chooses what path they want to take. they r the product of their own choices, not a religions teaching. and like i said if u want to see what someone who follows islam completely turns out like, u have the ex of Mohammad(SWS). Islam is a mercy on us, if we follow it, we will be better, if we dont then what happens is in front of u today. plz dont say islam producing muslim thing again, cuz it makes no sense. my duty was to try and clear ur misconceptions, the choice is up to u to make. i wont judge ur religion by what u do. in teh end u will be held responsible for what u do and i will be held responsible for what i do. who ever wishes to stay ignorant, will only hurt themselves. no one is asking u to become a schoalr and read th whole quran, but plz do a learn a thing or two about it first.
