oh my! i'm so so sorry for your SIL. may Allah give her strength through this difficult time.

were the doctors not able to pick up how the baby was growing or the movemets? that' such sad news :(

I dont know smiley , lots of things being said , some are saying that its the doc's negligence ... others are saying that since she is diabetic and suddenly her BP shot up two weeks ago ... perhaps that was the culprit... When a woman's diabetic , usually her baby grows weight in the last few weeks of pregnancy ... so it might be that the doctors were right but nobody cared to explore it further etc ...

Nevertheless , its very sad .... and may Allah bless her with sabr.

That's really sad! No wonder the baby measured 6 weeks bigger. Diabetis n high BP in pregnancy is very dangerous. Had the doc advised a csect early on?
I'm really sorry. Your SIL will be in my prayers. May Allah give her strength n sabr
