u can use both i.e. v and w for urdu letter WOW
like Wadah, Watan, Waghaira but Vsal, Valadat is usually written with V. I think W is mostly used for Wow, just like in WOW.

LP i think when we use zair (this is the sign which come under the word " و " like veerana, vishal) under the word then we use V for Vow and for other Vow we use Zabar, Paish then we use word W … i think its clear
