runs small software company = works out of parents basement trying to come up with that latest and greatest iPhone app (also got rejected by microsoft, apple, IBM, Cisco, google, yahoo, and anyother worthwhile tech companies)
I will probably get picked on for this question, but is he Bengali, as in Bengali from Karachi, or Bengali from Bangladesh/India?
If its the latter, then I would consider cultural differences (which might be a moot point if he has been born and raised in the US).

Bang. There you have it.
How many of y'all got married to bengalis admit it. No from Bangladesh.
Not trying to be racist or anything, but I don't know any Pakistanis here in the States (or in Pakistan) who are married to or would marry a Bangladeshi. I'm pretty sure a lot of families would be against letting their kids do that too. I doubt most people would even consider it.
I'm just being realistic, I don't have anything against Bengalis or anything.
What's wrong with Bengalis? I'm ignant to what's considered a no-no in Pakistan.
Nothing is wrong it just doesn't happen very often, people in Pakistan like to marry people they are familiar with and who are similar to them, that's why a lot of people over there don't even like to go outside their own ethnic group.
Also, and sucks to say but a lot of Pakistanis I've found kinda look down on Bengalis, I mean anything Bengali is considered kinda ewwww, at least that's what my girl cousins tell me.
^^yea, enlighten me as well...what's wrong with
bengalis?
there is a girl in my extended family (100% Indian Hydrabadi) who married a guy from Bangladesh and he and his family are lovely people...I don't get it, what's the big deal?

HMM I dunno maybe for Indian Hyderabadis it's not a big deal, but for some people it's a big deal.
Well, 1/2 my family is Pakistani too…and my sister married into Delhi-walas, my inlaws are Gujju/kutchi-memon…It’s not a big deal to us…bus log achay honay chaiyay
