A lot of Pakistani families are against their kids marrying any other race full stop tho, aren’t they?
The desi part of my family comes from Karachi and Dhaka (am visiting there later this month :)) and this goes back a few generations.. some of my older relatives ended up leaving Pakistan and settling in Dhaka after marriage and vice versa.. Obviously it’s not common but it definitely happens and it’s not always as difficult or complicated as ppl make it out to be.. Bangladeshis tend to be quite open-minded.. they’re not usually as hesistant when it comes to marrying Indians (Muslims obviously) or foreigners in general.. Tribalism and the caste system also don’t exist in their culture which makes things a bit easier..
I would tell the OP to go for it IF she likes the guy and thinks they might be compatible..
