Imazine you are John Wright, present coach of Indian cricket team and India is playing New Zealand (his home country) like the test match currently on… whom would you want to win INDIA or NEW ZEALAND.

Certainly. Kapil Dev is a moron by intellect. His captaincy was marked by lack of common sense even though India won the WC under him.
I would say Shastri or Gavskar would do a much better job of coaching.
But then this is not the original point of this thread.
It would be a very difficult decision. I think Wright would want India to win, after all he is coaching the team and knows them all. There must be a bonding there somewhere between the team and him. However also being a NZ batsmen in the past his loyalties must be divided. He probably would be satisfied if the Test match series is drawn by India winning the last test.
As for Pybus, well the less said the better, the guy himself does not know which country he belongs to. However, his loyalties must lie with Pakistan because no other country can get sucked into appointing him as a coach.
