Like I said above, it depends on how much of the interest one has in other person. Add to that it depends how much of the interaction one has with other.

Trust me, some people do leave each other on a good note and stay in touch. (Not literally :D)

If you were with someone, be it dating/ engaged/ married/ what evs, and things ended between you and your significant other…*
(And by dating I don’t mean just killing time. I mean serious dating - potential life partner.)

Would you want to know if and/or when they moved on?

Would you expect them to tell you?

What if the tables were turned - Would you want to tell them or think they would want to know?

Why or why not?

I wouldn’t want to know (more like wouldn’t care to know) nor would I expect them to tell me anything. If it’s over between us, it’s no longer my concern.

Depending on the situation, if the relationship ended on mutual terms and the two are still friends, if one person chooses to share something, that’s on them. I wouldn’t ask anything personal or expect them to tell me. Friends or not, it’s not my business.

If we ended on bad terms, I wouldn’t want anything to do with them and would hope that everyone who was mutual friends understood that. Don’t share any information about them with me… And don’t tell that person anything about me. Bas. Ties were severed… leave them that way.
