If tomorrow you were given a pill that would allow you to be in perfect health like superman with no aging would you take that pill? I am asking this because science is making these things possible with regenerative medicine and advances in nano-technology. How many of you would turn down such an opportunity?

the thing is that people accept aging and disease as 'natural' or part of human destiny. we age, we die, etc.. But at the same time science is viewing these very things as a technical problem. Scientists are hard at work to re-create body parts from stem cells. So that is just survival, but then we are also going to enter the age of actual upgrades. You know like maybe leg muscles that allow you to leap over a building or enough strength that you don't even have to rent a U-Haul truck when you are moving to another apartment, maybe you can download an upgrade for your eyes so you can see in the dark. I always wonder, are we philosophically equipped to handle these wonderful opportunities that are about to come our way.
