You are allowed only one person to spend the rest of your life with. At the start of the relationship, however, you must make the choice between loveless sex, or sexless love. What do you choose and why?

id choose a moderate life which would be none of the above two choices cz im a normal human with normal needs.
im sure the above question was raised in a psychology class cz we can expect everyone to be 'abnormal' there.

I don't think u can really have a lifetime of loveless sex, cos i wud think eventually u two wud fall in love somewhere down the line (or at least develop some feelings no?)...so even though this question seems odd, i guess i wud choose that.

sex without love = meaningless

if she's hot and beautiful, loveless sex. if she's just ok and decent then sexless love. if she's ugly then....umm...well that's the real dilemma.

Well! Who would care about love if there were only 2 person left in a scenario. I think, love is a method to keep two of the opposite sex together for procreation purposes. Love, not related to sex, is a mean to improve upon your existing race. If there are only two people left, a sexless love or a loveless sex would mean exactly the same thing.
IT is also said, if the desirable is not available, make the available desirable.

i am with u here. I think life wouldnt be complete without either of these and it will be like a torture to either have loveless sex or sexless love. I rather be alone too!

Maybe i worded it wrong, i meant if i really had to choose then i guess loveless sex…but really, both scenarios seem impossible.

depends on the person, if attraction is there, then loveless sex, cause i would love to have sex but if no attraction at all then i opt for sexless love :D

I would opt for "Sexless Love" Rationale: Love is blind and powerful and defiant. One day the shackles would be broken, hopefully :)
