okay, after reading a white guy/brown girl and i’m kali sue me threads, i’m starting this b/c i’m curious. Would you marry a kala/kali (considering they are muslim), i’m NOT talking about desi (kala/kali) dark skin but actual African American. Would you consider if you get a rishta from a kala(i)? b4 ppl ask me what i would do, i wouldn’t. I wouldn’t marry any girl unless she is desi n living in Pakistan but that’s just me.

i also wants to marry a muslim/sunni/pakistani man. that is only my personal restriction because i don't think there is any way for to accept anything other than above only because i don't think i can adjust to a guy who isn't pakistani. but IF i didn't had that restriction for my self i wouldn't mind marrying an african.
Disclaimer* i would say NO, NOT because he is a kala african, but because i just want a pakistani guy.

I prefer someone who can speak my mother tongue.

And if he has an African American who was adopted by Desis and raised to be familiar with language and all that, AND I liked him, then yes I would. But I would worry about my parents and relatives being embarrassed with my kaale bachche and stuff like that because I wouldn't want them to be discriminated against.

some one married a black belgian guy...the girl is british with pakistani heritage so they not only went different cultures but 3 different languages or 4 as he is from africa originally...only thing in favour is that they are boths muslims...and she is in love enuf to handle the taboos....

I know people who have married into African American families.

If he was Muslim and I loved him, I would do it. No questions asked.

Yes, I would if I was single.. One of my desi friends has a preference for mixed-race black men and I also tend to find them really attractive..

I dont know if ever the situation arose I might well do so.

However race is not important much in a marraige...

Sure if the womans Muslim and is of strong character and looks then why not... theoretically It would not be so bad a match up.

A lot of the Pakistanis that went to East Africa married into the local Africans who were also Muslims. And they generally tend to be more shareef and Deeni. The Somalians have some beautiful people and have the most tolerable arabic accent!

I wouldnt for the simple reason that i want to marry a PAKISTANI :D. Can't think of marrying anyone of any other ethnicity even if they are Muslim. Marriage is already too much of changes and adjustments, i wouldnt want to risk it further ;). For me my traditions, my customs, my way of life is very important.
