There are alot of sperm banks around. People donate sperms to these banks for many reasons including financials reasons.Would the girls marry that guys knowing that he could be a “GENETIC” father of many kids???

Well one can find out if one is in a relationship or lets says the guy is open about it.But do you think it is immoral act? sperm bans should not be there at all?

Then there should be no issue in me going to a sperm bank in the event I don't get married, and yet when I discussed that topic in religion, I recieved at least ten fatwas.

talking about islam then girl this is not right as a woman cant get any non-mehram sperms...:)so the fatwas were right.

okay, lets just say in the scenario, a couple loves each other a lot that they cannot even think of leaving each other, however the guy cannot be a father for some reason, is it against islam still if the girl wants to be a mother and all she does is get Inseminated. She is not sleeping with someone else and for sure every girl wants to experience motherhood "i think".
In my uneducated opinion i dont think its wrong and these sperm banks are for such scenarios itself, arent they?

if u see according to ur wishes i think many things then would be okay but sperms donated from another man not ur hubby the child will never be urs ......islam has made marrige system to have babies also so its necessary for that person to be ur hubby to have child .
other then that its Allah's will but science can do any thing from wrong to right and right to wrong.

Conversely...how would the guys fel about marrying a woman who has donated eggs? The eggs are ripened and removed laparoscopically through the belly button so no sexual harm done....and egg donors are paid in the area of 10 thousand dollars, sometimes more.

Neither can you "tell" that a female has donated....the procedure to remove the eggs is through a needle inserted through the belly button. I doubt that anyone would be able to detect a needle mark! And I think the guys get perhaps 100 dollars or less for their donation. Gals get upwards of 10thousand. It could put a poor girl through college or secure her a good rishta. Not to mention, giving the possiblility of a child to a couple who would otherwise go without.
You know, there is actually a HUGE demand for South Asian/Muslim eggs so donors are paid more.
its the fact that he may have fathered children that he does not know about. simplest scenario, he has a child who grows up and falls in love with someone..who could very well be their sibling that htey dont know about.
but can a woman who donates eggs be able to carry/have children of her own later on?

Sure she can. Its a pretty simple procedure, they accelerate your eggs with fertility meds and when they're ripe, the eggs are extracted with a needle thru the belly button. The gal goes on to have a normal cycle the very next month. Physically it really isnt a big deal. Emotionally though...its a much bigger deal for a woman to donate eggs than it is for a guy to donate sperm. The demand for eggs is so high that they are very highly paid for. If I happened to fit the criteria, I might well do it. Easy for me to say now that I dont fit the criteria lol!!! But to give another couple the ability to have a baby...I so like that idea. So there it is ladies...you have a very marketable and profitable commodity, one that also can bless a childless couple with a baby of their own. DO you go for it? And guys, what do you think about THAT??

Yes-but in the same way if women donate eggs, they'll be inseminated by sperm which is non-mehrem, hence I wouldn't think it'd be halal- it sounds shady and I would stay far away from such things. It's definately nothing like donating blood, if you do donate blood regularly you'd know better. MO3, I would definately not go for it, there are MANY other ways of going through that cherished mommy feeling that are "Islam- friendly" :)
and I wouldn't marry a guy who donates sperm either-
