Re: Would you live in a micro home?
Yeah as long as it has enough space for my stuff.
Re: Would you live in a micro home?
I kinda already live like that… one realizes how much stuff is not NECESSARY to carry along.

Re: Would you live in a micro home?
Not voluntarily.
Re: Would you live in a micro home?
Nah, I don’t fancy living in a shed
Re: Would you live in a micro home?
Sure…one of this in every major city.
Re: Would you live in a micro home?
Only when my home becomes an empty nest.
Re: Would you live in a micro home?
A person who has interest in building such house can make it a very profitable business.
You can buy land far away from the city, build wooden huts, and sell it as vacation property.
Re: Would you live in a micro home?
Good idea.
Re: Would you live in a micro home?
I find her creativity impressive. She’s good with building things. If it were me, I wouldn’t know where to begin. I’d struggle with just assembling a single piece of furniture let alone a micro-home. I do like small homes like cottages and such…there’s a coziness to them. But I wouldn’t go far as a micro-home. I like having running water and toilets that flush.
Re: Would you live in a micro home?
That is the point hareem. You have to get rid of unnecessary things.
Re: Would you live in a micro home?
Well, problem is that these small houses don’t meet building codes & that is why this lady is hiding her house in someone’s backyard.
Re: Would you live in a micro home?
If it’s on a mountain then yes otherwise no.
Re: Would you live in a micro home?
I had looked into Eco-friendly and sustainable living often…came across these fantastic homes.
Re: Would you live in a micro home?
No. If it’s an apartment space with basic necessities (with running water/shower etc) and proper bed/mattress on floor then it’s fine but not a house.
I would rather cut my stuff in half or 1/3 if need be to open up space (actually working on it :)) The idea of climbing a ladder to get to bed is just uncomfortable for me - not acceptable.
Re: Would you live in a micro home?
I wasn’t talking of this same house.
I use to look into making a hut on a far away land my self.
So I know person who have such skills and interest, can build a business. Or that’s what it seems to me.
+
building codes are different when you are so far out of municipality, aren’t they?
I got that Idea from seeing how septic tanks are allowed when there is infrastructure.
I know I would have given this idea a go, if I wasn’t in such a cold place.
