Plenty of things...and i dont expect her to tell me everything either...if she asks about something then i will tell the truth but if she doesnt ask then i dont need to bring it up...some things are better left unsaid and to be honest there are some things they would prefer not to hear...

Suppose she asks you something, which is personally related to you and she has a right to ask, but you think that by replying to her honestly you would only allow alot of false doubts and suspecions and it might be difficult for you to clarify your sincere intentions behind those actions.
On the other hand if you don't reply, she might get curious and wonder about the possible reasons which might be forcing you to avoid those questions ?

i don't think there is any reason to tell you spouse little secret you've ever kept, but when they ask you about something you should be honest.

I share everything with my hubby and he does the same. Well, except for the "rule of life" that I've established for him to adhere to...that being:
Girls dont poop, fart, burp or perform ANY kind of distasteful bodily function. If such were to APPEAR to occur, it was SURELY the dog, the cat or one of the little ones.
Everything else is out in the wide open.

If the truth would hurt the relationship more, the lesser of two evils becomes keeping the secret.

ideally yes.
practically no.
and this reasoning that everryone does it so i should it too, and try to be really c l e v e r , is actually the most foolish thing to do.
what is put at stake is the real self that one is made up of.
hiding anything oneself, is absolutely a dishonest thing to do.

Just out of curiousity then would you understand if your parnter didnt want to go into detail about something or would you expect them to...for me there are questions i dont bother asking but for some here they want to know everything...would you appreciate if your partner was uncomfortable about going into details about certain things...say for instance things with their family if they are strained...she has a bad relationship with her dad and doesnt want to talk abiut it...would it annoy you if she didnt?...

^give them their space is my first thought but if you think the past is effecting the present than its a whole different ball game.

i think ppl shud b totally open wit their husband/wife
coz sumtimez even the smallest thingz u hide
might cause huge problemz later
n trus me ive seen that happn a lot
