Re: Would you judge a desi if they had a tattoo?
me too ..
Re: Would you judge a desi if they had a tattoo?
ya n getting back to the question, wl i judge them? well it does show a character trait like does every other action a person do or things they choose to adapt. But the judgement wont be like God forbid he/she is of bad character but depending on what the tattoo is about it wud tell something about the persn for sure.
Re: Would you judge a desi if they had a tattoo?
they maybe becoming the 'norm', but they are still classed as haraam by those who follow islam.
Re: Would you judge a desi if they had a tattoo?
Heh. Everyone has their own 2 cents on tattoos. I know my views changed too but the way I look at it, I got something I wont regret, did not get it for the SAKE of getting it and if I was to ever want it off due to feeling clusterphobic or something I could laser it off. I got mine in dark ink which is easy to laser off, also there is no shading or anything fancy.
As for the religion perspective, aside from what my stance on religion, tattoos are not permanent in this day and age, the ink is within the layers of the skin making it something under the skin as opposed to on top so wudhu is very much completed.
Re: Would you judge a desi if they had a tattoo?
And for those that asked/requested to see it, here is what I got. Remember, it's about 2" on due to it's positioning it looks a bit big in pictures but it is exactly 2" which is quite tiny and it is covered easily under a stack of bangles/bracelets or even a watch. Hardly gets noticed, which is what I prefer.
poof
These pictures were taken when I had gotten I had JUST gotten it (maybe 2 hours after) so it was quite swollen and "sharp" looking, as if I had drawn it on using a Sharpie or something. It's quite subtle looking now. Anyways, not everyone's cup of tea but oh well, I love it. And again, not because I'm a flamboyant/obnoxious patriotic-type.
Re: Would you judge a desi if they had a tattoo?
ofcourse, you cannot perform wudu with a permanent tattoo
Re: Would you judge a desi if they had a tattoo?
I've got one as well but it's not visible when I'm in normal clothing (just two hearts on my backside).. My mum who's v.religious was more upset that I'd let the person tattoo me there than about the tattoo itself lol..
I wouldn't get one that was v.noticeable, just my personal preference..
M_was_here, yours is nice and simple.. it looks good :)
Re: Would you judge a desi if they had a tattoo?
Tattoos are hot :jano:
However they’re so mainstream now that they aren’t rebellious anymore.
Re: Would you judge a desi if they had a tattoo?
If its a tramp stamp. Most definitely judge her as a tramp an then aim to bed her.

Re: Would you judge a desi if they had a tattoo?
how about those who get their tribal tattoos?
would you judge them?
some have tattoos on their face.
you would see people like this in New Zeeland
what do you think of them?
Re: Would you judge a desi if they had a tattoo?
I wouldn’t judge. I used to be scared of bikers with tattoos all over their arms and stuff but they are actually nice people…much nicer than the snobs.

Re: Would you judge a desi if they had a tattoo?
tattoo annoy me to the limit no matter who has it, desi and non-desi included.
as much as I hate tattoos, a girl joined my team as a graphics designer who has tattoos all over her body, arms, legs and what not. Its so distracting while briefing her on something ![]()
as I said somewhere else, no matter what we say, its human nature to take everything on its face-value at first and then comes the cycle of analyzing and adjusting your view about that thing (or person).
Re: Would you judge a desi if they had a tattoo?
I don’t know.
Don’t people get tattoos in visible spots to BE JUDGED?
Re: Would you judge a desi if they had a tattoo?
I would like to have a tattoo … I’ll feed it every day and keep it in my garden … :halo:
Re: Would you judge a desi if they had a tattoo?
Like I said, the ink it embedded within the layers of the skin, it’s not a layer on top of your skin the way nail polish would be) so the top layer is always free of “covering” hence water passes over it like any area of the skin. It’s a common misconception but if only people actually knew about how tattoos work. But legit concern nonetheless.
Aww, 2 hearts is really cute! Did you get for you and the SO? I think you mentioned matching tattoos once, was this the one? And thanks!
I personally dont think tattoos are hot, esp when they are huge or big/visible. I wouldn’t want my husband to have a huge/visible one. And yeah, sadly people started getting tattoos for the sake of getting them (a random star or butterfly that doesn’t signify anything are just examples :halo:) which kind of made it mainstream. But their choice, lol.
Oh, wow. Thank you for enlightening me. :halo: I chose not to get J&K…yet. I had both variations drafted out, just chose to get this one instead.
Very phunneh’, Hareem. Very phunneh’.
I have seen those and I think those can look great, esp. due to their cultural significance. I just find it kind of d-bagish when I see people with no significance to NZ/tribes getting a sleeve of tribal tattoos. Another example a tattoo “for the sake of it”. It’s a trend, something that will pass and look tacky a few years from now. The way roses on your upper arm is now considered hillbilly-ish. So yeah, if you get tattoos for the wrong reasons/or of things with no significance to you, you’re most likely to regret them.
True. But mine isn’t visible, plus I wouldn’t get something like that on my foot or rib or something. ![]()
Re: Would you judge a desi if they had a tattoo?
I have been told that tattoos are haram bcuz wuzuu isnt jaiz with it...just like nailpolish it doesnt let you wash your skin.
but thats just what i heard..
Re: Would you judge a desi if they had a tattoo?
I don't have any and don't have any intentions to get tattoos. As they're haraam. Quite simples.
If other people have them I have no issues. It is there choice. Some tattoos do look nice.
