People go to casinos for the same reason they go on blind dates - hoping to hit the jackpot. But mostly, you just wind up broke or alone in a bar.

I’ve done it once and well my single status is a testament to it being a bust. He spent the entire lunch date alternately moaning about his ex girlfriend who put a knife through his heart by dumping him because he wouldn’t commit to her (she then proceeded to get married to someone else within 4 months and was pregnant with her first child) or trying to psychoanalyze me.
The friend who set me up, all I asked her afterward was : “What were you thinking?!?”

As for going on a blind date, not too comfortable with the idea. I don't like putting myself knowingly and willingly into awkward situations.
