The main takeaway - some races are at the top of a pole. And some at the bottom. Anything else?
Surely must differ depending on whose pole it is? For some, some races are on top for others different races are on top. Let's not ponder who is the bottom of the pole here n GS :/
if dating and being with a non pakistani wasnt an issue for me, i would still not date an african person. i have yet to come accross a non flirty african guy. i havent met any attractive africans personalities yet. and i want to go by the look, i will prefer the mixed race one...an african and chineese mix would be WOW .
hmm only if i am lucky enough to find him..i wont take the trouble to look for him...
Matlab you will be ok with it if he finds you. What if he is 1/6 Pakistani, 1/6 Indian, 1/3 African and 1/3 Chinese. Phir kya hoga? What about if he has relatives in India from before partition?

Well the person wouldn't be fully Indian but part Indian part Pakistani part other nationalities. No issues though. Everyone has preferences. The low risk option is always safest :) Have you come across many Indians in your lifetime?
oh check your other thread very soon.
how does this 1/3rd trick work? usually ancestry works in twos - 1/4th, 1/2, 3/4..
Laws of 3s. Someone in the family had a stepfather/step mother who was Indian. This person was responsible for nurturing so even if biologically they weren't involved they were involved in the passing down of habits.
I think she's referring to the passing down of culture. Person A, who is African, has children from a previous marriage. Persona A marries Person B, who is Indian. As person B will be helping raise Person A's children, it is likely that the children will pick up some bits and bobs of Person B's Indian culture (i.e. fondness for Indian cooking), even though they are not Indian, by virtue of constantly being around Person B.
That said, I think culture is quite different and separate from ethnicity/race. I'm not sure if culture is taken into account in terms of ancestry as culture is not a tangible, physical trait.

People tend to pick up the culture of whoever it is that raises them. A caucasian child raised by Indians would likely be influenced and pick up bits of the Indian culture. It’s really not that complicated. Similarly, a caucasian with an Indian stepparent, may also be influenced by their step parent’s culture, although obviously to a lesser extent.
My second point was that this transfer of culture is purely cultural and that @shaasavera is confusing culture with lineage. Culture and lineage are two very different things. A caucasian raised by Indians would still be 100% caucasian in terms of lineage and not 1/3 or 1/5 Indian or whatever was stated earlier.
That is what I am saying. Culture and lineage are two different things. What was mentioned earlier was purely cultural and therefore, has no bearing on ancestry/lineage.
Mezghan explained what I meant but I guess it sounds nonsensical. Should have made it 1/4 indian 1/4 pakistani 1/4 Sri Lankan 1/4 African and 1/4 Chinese . My hay would be quite exotic
pal........... fractions isnt your strongest suit. :\ maybe just write those huge essays on indian and pakistani cultures being the same but different but same but different but same but different but oh yeah same?

too much time online and all numbers blend in the same. Essays are down to short stories now. Just minus the Sri Lankan Part and it's fine. 1/4 indian, pakistani , Chinese and African. Not sure where the Sri Lankan part came in. I think it's because Jacqueline Fernandez is in kick which is a movie in the Bollywood thread
