Men and women…would you be okay working as a model or actress?
Would you care if your spouse did?

Re: Would you consider a career that put you in the public eye?
A man can be an actress too?? ![]()
Re: Would you consider a career that put you in the public eye?
No and I wouldn't want the spouse to be either.
Re: Would you consider a career that put you in the public eye?
Hai Allah kitne esmaaart ho aap. ![]()
Re: Would you consider a career that put you in the public eye?
No for me and for my spouse.
Unless of course it's a job like being a senator, actually anything in politics is okay by me.
Re: Would you consider a career that put you in the public eye?
I wouldn't mind him being a model or actor or a politician. I don't think he'd like if i were to take such jobs but he wouldn't stop me either.
Re: Would you consider a career that put you in the public eye?
Of course, and I'd hit it big I tell ya, I'd be the Ron Jeremy of political and religious circles.

So what are you waiting for?
Re: Would you consider a career that put you in the public eye?
Add daughter in the original post too Reha ![]()
Would you be ok with your daughter being a model/actress ..
Re: Would you consider a career that put you in the public eye?
Just waiting for the right moment Hareem. One fine day I am going to whip my impeccable political paradigm right out of my pants (what, it is just an expression!) and bang it on the table with a loud thud, and that is when the world will kneel down and that will be the onset of a new world order. For now I am just in the observation phase of it - just waiting and watching from a secluded dark corner.
Re: Would you consider a career that put you in the public eye?
^ Stewie’s soul got into you…new world order ![]()
Re: Would you consider a career that put you in the public eye?
Personally if I was skilled then why could I not be an Actor or Model so long as i played the roles suited to my Character and I would not want to wear anything that goes against my principles for everything else I think I can work round it…:faris:
But I know I was not cut for Celebrity role though I like playing the Kingmaker behind the scenes… I literally call the shots. ![]()
Re: Would you consider a career that put you in the public eye?
Naah... I don't think I'm cut out for that kind of career.
Re: Would you consider a career that put you in the public eye?
I did play with the idea of becoming an MP but I really value my privacy, so no. I would prefer my husband stays out of the public eye too.
Re: Would you consider a career that put you in the public eye?
as long as it does NOT violate Islamic Dress Code or Hijaab requirements...why NOT! :D
Re: Would you consider a career that put you in the public eye?
@ Sarab You would have made a great MP. I am sure you should give it a try and many good MP's manage to avoid the Press. Ussually it's the bad ones that are always on TV for all sorts of reasons but the best guys hardly get mentioned. I remember the MP for Waltham Forest as being a top notch and "capital" fellow but does anyone know him? There you are then. :)

Indeed why not...
Me and you should be in a Action movie... you can sort out the plot and logistics of a train hijacking that goes wrong and I will be the beatem up chap who does a cross of Van Dame and Segal with some one liners to string punches together... I think were onto something you know? :D

hahaha...great idea. we can transform our imagination into a block-buster thriller :) will you play Kojak?
Re: Would you consider a career that put you in the public eye?
Faris you sweetie
Problem is I would end up going on question time and cursing people out, some of my views are just too controversial to avoid been in the press.
Re: Would you consider a career that put you in the public eye?
No, because as soon as models and actors or actresses hit 35, they start getting surgeries, anti-aging procedures, botox and other stuff which makes them look plasticy and grotesque. I think Dawn or The News has a lifestyle section where they post pictures of various fashion related events. Just look at those guys and girls, so fake looking, and so ugly. Their face looks different in professional pictures, but as soon as you see them in real life, it's like WOW F**** THIS!
And what's up with those fish lips all those well to do 40+ women are sporting these days? UGH.
