Would you accept an expensive gift .......?

  1. You gain high position in respective field, as Principal, director, chairman,…etc. & just after that, people under your “New” Post (whom you rarely saw before) congratulate you with very expensive gifts. (for the first time)

  2. From opposite gender colleague, it might make your spouse uncomfortable ?

i would accept n will return to him of almost same price on any occasion
mu spouse will never mind coz if i m in that field then he understands"aisa to hota he hy".

The first option might be at times used as "Rishwat". The Prophet (Saw) said that when the day of Judgement comes closer, rishwat would be given in the form of gifts.

WHY don't the same people give gifts to the "gate keepers" and "sweepers" and other servers in the office, but only to someone whom they might need in future, because of his high authority. The strong a person has post, the more expensive gift they give him.

A person asked this question from the Prophet (saw). The prophet (saw) asked " Did the same people used to exchange gifts with you before you got this post"

He said "No, they only started gifts after I got this post"

The Prophet (saw) discouraged it because this would raise love in his heart for those people and if in future they violate any rules, it would be difficult for him to give any order against them to maintain justice, because he would have a soft corner for them in his heart.
