Yes. I would save my loved ones before myself, i'd give my kidneys, lungs, eyes, heart anything if my family needed them. Unquestionable. I would rather protect them than myself.
i'd also die fighting for a cause...fighting in the way of Allah, fighting to protect my family, fighting to save a life....

As a matter of fact I have done such a thing.
Once my brother was over at our place. I dropped him off at the park for running. His little kid was with me.
He told me to take his son to introduce him to his coach who was training in the cricket ground next to to park.
Me and little nephew were walking crossing the cricket ground to get to those net-practice areas where coach was training. When we were in the middle I saw any one’s worst night mare in open field.
I saw the bee thing(pura chata makheen ka) That one time in my life I did not get scared.
I made my nephew sit in squat position and took off my jeans jacket and cover him while I sat in my tee-shirt.
Luckily bees did not attack us.
So yeah I would do any thing to protect them…
