Well they might not have wheat for bread but they can mine the moon for its cheese.

Wait for same announcement from Pakistan too. They want to do everything Indians do
[/QUOTE]
No they dont! If ur talking nuclear then then pakistan did it just to inform india that it has a strong defense arsenal itself which it can use if needed.

unless there is kashmir there to fight about

U r just plain shallow. Bringing up kashmir in a totally unrelated issue.

This is great news for India. Why are Pakistanis concenred abt starving Indians when we have 35% below poverty line ourselves. Your all so happy when Pakistan says "we put a foeign made space satillite into orbit"-this is just jealously on your part.

People here are just conccrened why india is not 1st looking after its poor. It goes for all countries. Our satellite was not a mere show-off, but a way to save us money in the future and keep the money within country rather then give it away to a foreign satellite company
Stick to the topic of this thread
landing man on moon will prove to be a great success for india and other third world countries, as india can offer cheap and efficient spaced technology to them.
This is key. A space exploration program run on a stringent shoestring budget will only bring out the best and cheapest technology.. that's good for everyone. Once the expenses on flying to space are cut down, the savings can be ploughed back into the real economy here on earth.
Both countries spend an enormous amount of money on their militaries while people from both countries starve. Rather than condemning one another you should condemn how wasteful your own governments are.
