They have refused to play in Pakistan in the past because of what happened in America (Sep 11) and maybe they were right about the security issues and England recently refused to play a TEST in Karachi because of security ( even though it’s no way as bad as they have made it up to be).
Now when there have been BOMB blasts in London and whole of UK is on high alert, shouldn’t the Australians abandon their tour and go back home??? Shouldn’t they be asking to play at a neutral venue or shift the tests to Australia???
Re: Would the Aussies ABANDON the current tour of ENGLAND???
hey shivangi, how are you. good to have you back.
I think our kirkettars have made an choice. They’ve clearly accepted the fact that they will get pelted with stones but that is nothing compared to beating which can be called borderline sodomy they give out to bhaaaaraati kirkettars. So what if they get pelted with stones. Kicking Irfan “the next wasim akram” pathan in the buttocks is well worth the stones.
Re: Would the Aussies ABANDON the current tour of ENGLAND????
My point was that Aussies are playing an ODI in the same city which came under attack less than a week ago, there were BOMB blasts and it was a HUGE security risk to be in that city and AUSSIES had no problem at all to play an ODI there. Aussies refused to play in pakistan because of security reasons and England is AVOIDING karachi and there has been no SERIOUS bombings going in karachi except some shia-sunni clashes.
Why are they more safe in LONDON after all these bombings than KARACHI????
Re: Would the Aussies ABANDON the current tour of ENGLAND????
It's quite ridiculous to equate UK and Pakistan. Reasons should be obvious. Just look at the inability of the govt to control religious extremists in all parts of Pakistan or the porosity of your borders! Dawood Ibrahim is even about to celebrate a wedding ceremony ....when your govt supports such proven terrorists openly, how can you expect anyone to believe you have any control?
Re: Would the Aussies ABANDON the current tour of ENGLAND????
It may well be amongst the very first efforts to condemn terrorism if Aussies play scheduled games. Also, in my opinion, they must try to plan an extra 20-20 or one day in London.
