Just want to get to the basic’s to understand the opinions being expressed on this website.
This thread isn’t about the U.S. and how many Iraqi’s they killed or how evil the U.S. is . It is just asking quite simply if Iraq would be better off with Saddam in power, yes or no?

No. But in a morbid calculus a lot of other people might be (no, I'm not referring to Saddam's buddies)
The sad fact is, we can't save everyone. There is a lot more pain & suffering in the world and even in Iraq we didn't solve much of anything even in the best case (in global humanitarian terms). This idealism that we can change things for the better is really quite hollow as it exists now.
All I can say is that the history books of future generations will not be a boring read.
