Thats generally true but did you know a PIA pilot once landed the plane without lowering the landing gear (they forgot to do that). I remember as it happened close to where I live.

The very first time I heard of this phenomenon was in Dominican Republic Flight... Then, I saw it in Jordanian Airline:D
A passenger told me the reason.
It was a clap of thanks that finally passengers gained a trust on pilot; before landing they had trust on God and prayers alone:D
