tell people if you failed ? but people i mean siblings, sils, bils , mils, lol if these people asked and say you did not want to tell them what would you say ?
and when it comes to inlaws is it okay to lie to them about failing?

Lying isn’t good. Why lie for such a trivial thing? You failed.. So what??!! Life is full of ups and downs.

I think it’s up to you. That said, you should have at least one person you can confide into about your failures and mistakes. I’d suggest having more than one confidants where no one of them knows all your secrets. Things go sour with one of them, you’re not totally compromised.

Lying about such mundane things is trivial. It shows character. No matter the lie, how big or small.
So what you didn’t pass. You’ll get it next time and ace it. That’s it. Life happens. We learn more from our failures than we do our success.
