Worst Specialist Batsman ever

:k:

He was the worst batsman who got this many changes at top level from Pakistan

Mansoor Akhtar was the guy who got many chances as a genuine batsman, Manzoor Elahi was an all rounder not a specialist batsman.

^ true dat...

Wajahattullah Wasti, I am still hunting him... Jinaab pachaas bowls letey they set honey ke liye, aur 51st par killi ur jaati thi

^ You mean Wajahatullah Nesti??? isnt that what he was called after his brilliant performace in 99 world cup.

oh no no more Wasti! He is just naturally bad.

I think Muhammed Wasim was also a failure. He was known to be the best pakistani batsman on fast and bouncy pitches. However he was given numerous chances and consistently he failed to deliver.

Mansoor Akhtar of Pakistan. The dude was riding on Imran's shoulders. He was one of the very few failures Imran betted on.

well said, could not agree more... he was a stylish player too who used to use his wrist really well... but hick was not a total flop and he had some success.

:k:

My vote goes to Shahid Afridi. but then again my memories of him are mostly from the last World Cup, so it may not be fair to him.

If you go by the World Cup then it has to be Inzamam :p

you are right Yassir, Inzi was'nt so impressive. But I thought he would really bat well against India after that first 4, but then the run out and .............

Wasti gets my vote. BTW< is Mohd. Wasim still playing? He looked a decent bat, does he have a comeback chance?

Well he is playing currently for OTAGO in NZ (green bouncy pitches) and he has done well there ...... well the opposition (NZ's 1st Class) isn't that threatning (bowling-wise especially)

Last thing that i heard about him was that, he just have one more Yr. to play first class cricket in NZ and then he can qualify for playing for NZ and they are (NZlanders)seriously considering that too.
