as we know.....people here who do come through elections.....are also dictators....

Democratic government is better because when saddam killed shias and kurds to crush their revolt he was hanged. While us army killed a lot of iraqis to suppress their revolt but G.W.Bush will not be punished for killing of innocent civilians in iraq and afghanistan.
Under the pretext of democracy u can do any thing like banning hijab not allowing to build a mosque even u can ban minarates for mosque.

Democracy > > dictatorship. Saddam ruled with an iron fist for 30 (?) yrs, Castro for 60 yrs, Idi Amin xx yrs. At least in Democracy you can throw the bums out (and welcome new bums in)

Interesting nobody mentions Taiwan, South Korea and Indonesia when discussing democracy and dictators. All three had dictators in power for at minimum 10 years and look at them.

PPP wallah shouldn't really talk about democracy. They appoint chairman/co-chairman of their party based on will of a diseased person!
