bhai saab, how do u think all the other religions spread, sum1 had to migrate to the other area to spread it, it doesnt just spread on its own.
n if ur rite then explain y is Islam the fastest growing religion in the world currently? Why do more people convert from their own religion i.e. hinduism, christianity, buddhism, judaism to Islam then any other religion? Explain this to me.

Before i tell anything.....let me say that i have nothing against any faith and i am a hindu.
You have opened a new topic of conversion. There was thread also about conversion into hinduism. The number of converts into hinduism is very less according to me. But for me hinduism is number one, not just because it has come to me by birth, but also because of it's philosophy.
You all guys are unanimous about one thing that there are 3 'divine' religions i.e, christianity, islam and judaism. I hope i am right. Let me accept this, 'for the time being'.There are two faiths which believe in proselytization. i hope i am right about the spelling. i.e, christianity and islam.
Okay, now to your question. I dont know which is the fastest growing religion in this world. Let's accept it is islam for the time being. It is growing mainly let's say in europe, US or other places where there is freedom of religion. Muslims are mainly concentrated in islamic republics. means those countries that are strictly islamic. Other faiths are simply not encouraged. Allow a church to be built in those countries, give christianity full freedom in every islamic country, then you will see which is fastest growing religion.
If you want example, take indonesia(largest muslim country i guess). East timor was once a part of indonesia. It is dominated by christians. what happened there?...east timor just broke off from indonesia and became a seperate country. There was little freedom of religion in indonesia and christianity did spread there. Take nigeria. What is happening there?...There is freedom of faith. Give freedom of religion particularly to christianity in every islamic country, then you will see reality.
Frankly, somewhere in my mind,i dont believe in conversion. you can draw any meaning from this.
^So why hinduism is not spreading despite freedom? Forget forcing. No large number of people can be converted by force as I mentioned earlier somewhere. people find goodness in a philosophy and convert. Majority converts to islam still today despite negative propaganda against islam all over.

hinduism is not spreading despite freedom.....may you can say it is not a very appealing religion which according to many here. I dont care about that opinion anyway. Dont bring hinduism here, by the way.Keep hinduism out. for more details, go to "converts to hinduism thread".
where did i say force?.....i didn't say force. you know what?...give freedom as i said mainly to christian missionaries, the net result would be zero, i.e, the number who go out of islam = number who come in. that's what i feel. no growing. there are all kinds of people in this world with different tastes. dont expect everyone's taste to be the same.

abha yaar, ur hindu, and ur talking about christianity, hey there r churches in every muslim country..there might not be as many as their r mosques but its because christians make up less than 10% even less than 5% of the population, as for nigeria i dont know anything about that, but i assure u if the people knew more about islam whatevers happening there wud not be happening there, if only more christians knew about islam and its teachings then u wud see reality my brother, u shud also look into it.
