heathrow is an ass of an airport . n gatwick is even worse.
so ur flight boards from gate 95 , that is like a bloody hour's walk before u get there n dose lil car things , no their not for u , their js for dose grannies going to gate 8.
heathrow is ridiculous. in sep we were going to amsterdam and we had like 5 mins to board because the ques were soo long , in the end they let us skip the que and run to our gate.
The only airport from that list that I have used is Charles De Gaulles in Paris. And although it is quite bad, it is not the worst airport I have ever been to.
Last weekend I had experience the worst airport I have ever travelled through: Jeddah Airport!!!! Every Pakistani airport I have been to is much better than Jeddah. And I'm saying that although I have been to very bad airports like Multan and Faisalabad.
Multan! It is not bad at all. It is small but has quick hassle free exit and entry. And the officials are polite and helpful. What else do you need?
I've travelled through Abu Dhabi airport several times and never had any problem whatsoever. It's not a very beautiful airport, but from an organizational point of view it is not really bad.

Btw Umer I had to wait 1,5 hours at the pass port controlls the day you joined us at the airport to c off. It was an horrible feeling, I had to run to catch the flight.
Organization has never been high priority for UAEians. Same goes for their traffic system and road infrastructure.

Since you travel to the UAE every now and then I'd recommend you get yourself an e-gate card. That's what I have. With that you go through immigration in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah within a few seconds rather than 1 1/2 hours. It's really worth the money. ;)

And what purpose does It serve? Never heard of It before. And the expenses??
apart from crowding, whats wrong with heathrow? that will be solved by new T5 in march 2008.
one cant compare size and number of pessangers using the airport with Multan or Lahore etc?
to more bigger airport you have more you have walking tunnels specially when its not planned bigger enough to start with. like dubai you dont have to walk too much to go to desired gate.
worst design Abu Dhabi, but operational wise nothing wrong with it.
CDG been couple of time there, but never had problems with it.
