who would want to pay taxes to a government when its ministers say corruption is their right? when mr 10% is president? anyways, this is 'recent' issue but they are representative of common man's mentality of cheating on taxes, everybody wants government services for free, hospitals for free.

mainly, elite class excuse is that they dont trust Pakistan taxation system.
btw, by abolishing wealth act, did it benefit or did the opposite?

You must be kidding? If people demand services where do you think money will come to pay for those services? You know like teachers, police, to fix roads, etc? It sure doesn't grow on trees. And if you live in country, any country, you must pay taxes.

who is responsible for tax collection? Why would a parliament filled with wadiaras tax agricultural income? Why would they tax import of luxury cars? The telecom companies are evading huge amounts of taxes. Simply tax SMS and you'll collect huge revenue.

A person who earns between 40-50000 Rupees a month pays more than most of the politicians sitting in the assemblies. Once they themselves start paying taxes, they will ensure the rest follow suit as well.
