PK team placed in fourth division won only one group match against malawi and lost to bahrain , nigeria and armenia. They missed their last match against guernsy I.L ( never heard about this country ) as they were enjoying dinner with team high officials.
Pakistani team includes veteran Asim qureshi ( i beleive he is in mid 40’s )
Women team lost all their matches ..
What a performance .
I think it is waste of national money to send in such tourneys.

they missed a match because they were having dinner. the players should be banned and the officials fired, such lack of professionalism. Maybe they decided to forfeit because winning against Guernsy was not going to do anything for them but its still pathetic.
at one point in time Pak TT was an up and coming power on world stage in mens, with nakhuda, farjad saif and arif khan among the players, downhill since then.

agreed, i understand that international exposure helps but the state Pak table tennis is in, they can provide the exposure by friendlies and short list of selected regional events.

Icing on the cake is even with manager and other staff for arrangements they missed the match. Manager should be fined for the whole trip expences
