there is no logic applicable anymore when it comes to India-Pak WC matches…home pressure on india, past history in favor of pakistan, pakistanis more talented but less disciplined blah blah blah blah. every scenario has already been tested and we have been beaten fairly and squarely every time.
we lost it when we had imran and javed, we lost it when we had wasim, waqar, inzi and yoyo, we lost it when we had afridi, saeed ajmal, mohammad aamir. we lost it on all type of pitches, on indian grounds, on south african grounds, on Australian grounds, in england, in bangladesh everywhere..we lost it batting first, batting second…and the list goes on and on.
and India will never face more home pressure than it faced in Mumbai 2011 WC semifinal against Pakistan…it was in mumbai and indian public was sentimental due to 711 incidence…indian team was under huge pressure to win it for india…and they did it.
even if we win today, it will be 8-1 i think..a long way to go green shirts. LONG WAYYYYYYYYYYYYY.

we are like South Africa here, we can easily beat India in any bilateral series, and numbers states that yes we have beaten them, may it be there home ground or any other ground.. but when it comes to ICC trophies, apart from one Champion trophy match, we have lost all matches against them… and no matter what the reason may be on given day, we lost it just like South Africa, who otherwise is a decent team but cannot win any ICC trophy despite best batsmen and bowlers…
we are chokers at best and i won’t blame it on Afridi if we loss today.. we have done it ever since ICC worldcup started… and reason for that… there is no particular reason… so i say we are chokers… and i am not hopeful today either..

waisay yaar samigh may nahieen aatiee, that what is the problem…i mean look at 1992, 1996, 1999, 2003, 2011, 2015 world cups, every match was in different conditions on different pitches with different set of players and we lost each one of them. then we lost every T20 against india as well. I mean even statistically we are supposed to win a WC match against indian long time ago. how big of a chokism is this?
i read in pakistani newspapers that as always, whole pakistan will be shut down, big screens are placed, dinners are arranged, friends are getting together, special prayers are going on, ton of mathai orders has been placed, …laikan nateeja? like losers, our skipper will say that this was just another match. dont worry, next time we will win

i am invited in one of such event, the host said, food shall be served after result, i have declined it… it is easy to watch them at home, curse them and then go for a walk rather sitting in a gathering and stuck with it…
and i agree… from english grounds to Australian Pitches, with Miandad to Inzi.. and Imran Khan to Misbah… we have lost…

the guy on left most is umar akmal…modelling at Anarkali Bazaar. He was really good at it until he was spotted by a selector during one of these modeling sessions and was offered a spot in our team.

this is not good…a big security breach. Despite highest possible security given to Pakistani cricket team by the indian govt, some random indian fan somehow managed to get to Pakistani superstar Shahd Afridi to shake hands with him…
