Sri Lanka are a tournament team. You would expect them to be in the last 4 of any major limited overs tournament. I thought that onslaught by Matthews in the last two overs really took the game away from Windies. 160 is always a competitive score in T20 cricket provided you field well and Lanka are a much better fielding side than Pakistan.

That being said Lanka have the same psychological problems against India in big games that we have against them (India) in WC games. So if it is an India-Lanka final I would expect India to win. I am sure all Lankan fans would be hoping that SA can somehow prevail over India in tomorrow’s semifinal..

I think India is stronger team than SA and most likely India would win (though nothing can be said with certainty). So, in my opinion, final would be between India and SL … and I believe SL would win the cup.

Anyhow, if India reaches final and SL could not win against India in final (for whatever reason) than SL do not deserve to hold the cup.
