Pak’s envoy to the UK claims that the world is putting pressure on Pakistan and does not appreciate its efforts in the war of terror.
About time Pakistan realized that you can only fool the international community for so long. Their patience is running out…
*Is Pakistan behaving responsibly? CNN-IBN asked Wajid Shamshul Hassan, Pakistan’s High Commissioner to the UK and an advisor to President Asif Ali Zardari.
Hassan almost admitted that India’s diplomatic offensive had put international pressure on Pakistan and accused the world of not appreciating his country’s efforts in fighting terrorism.
“Pakistan is carrying out a full-scale war against terrorism as no other country is doing. Pakistan has done more than its role in fighting terrorism. The world instead of supporting us has joined the blame game. The Americans and Saudis want us to do more (but) they have always wanted us to do more. We are carrying out a war against terrorism but they don’t recognise it.*
Re: World not supporting Pak in war on terror: envoy
When the attacks took place in Mumbai, Saudi and Iran offered to mediate but an angry and arrogant India told them to get stuffed as they thought uncle Sam will do everything for them. Now that the deadline has passed and India's gheedar babhkian have failed they have become desperate and are courting the same Saudi and Iranian govt and pleading with them to ask Paksitan to do something in order for them to save their face.

Wajid Shamsul Hasan is a nice guy but too loose tongued to be a good diplomat. He was only appointed because he used to "arrange" things for Zardari in London.

How the mighty and arrogant fools tumble.
You are truly ignorant about how international diplomacy works. This is called a multi-pronged approach.
