World In 2005?

As the last day of year nearing its end, what changes (if any) you see in 2005 in the world scene? Here are my thoughts:

– America will continue to piss off the world regarding its handling of Iraq while Elections in Iraq will not reduce insurgence.

– Election in Palestine will stop the violence for a short period of time but sooner or later either Israelis or Hammas will lose patience and same cycle will resume.

  • Pakistan and India agree on joint rule of Kashmir. The LOC is opened up. Pak and India relationship blossoms and they start to talk about an Asian economic bloc, like EU.

  • OBL is found (dead or alive - I'm not going to guess)

  • Rapid progress is made in technologies which give early warning on major natural disasters

  • Pakistan cricket dumps Shoaib Akhtar (about time) and Woolmer

i dont really see anything going towards improvement but still ummed par dunya qaim hai.

Lets hope there is some thing for muslims at last to cheer about.

This disaster.

The earthquake and tidal wave give a chance to work together.

Maybe God's test of mankind.

Maybe God wants to know if mankind was a waste of time.

Maybe this tradgedy is our last opportunity.
