Okay, will all this rhetoric of Iran and its nuclear ambitions (justifiable or not) I really think the end result is going to be that USA is going to find a reason to make Iran another one of its states, just like Afghanistan and Iraq. I am sure that this will upset and anger many muslims, or should I say people, even most westerners around the world, but the US desire to totally destroy the Muslim stronghold in Asia is already two thirds of the way done. Iran is only remaining country that would dare stand against US preassure. So folks, in a matter of 8 years of Bush Jr, he has accomplished what took the muslims 1400 years to build.

Iran cannot avoid a military defeat. But what its government believes that after the difficulties encountered in Iraq, the USA would be unwilling to occupy another country, especially one much larger than Iraq and needing even more troops. For the USA, the aftermath of victory is much harder than achieving it.
Therefore, the Iranian government is thinking the USA is bluffing, and is trying to call Bush's bluff.
Interesting times lie ahead, for sure. The two countries will be staring at each other eyeball to eyeball until either the USA actually invades Iran, or Iran tests a nuclear warhead.
Either case will change the game.

To be specific, we're at war with the ideaology of Islamic fundamentalism. If an individual doesn't see a difference between Islam and Islamic fundamentalism, then chances are you're against us and in that case may the best man win.
BTW is it just me, or does everyone else think this cluster-f#ck, the Hamas victory in palestine, and the ongoing Iraq situation, have stepped things up by about 5 notches? Something's gonna give, and soon.
