Re: World Earth Day

The one solution to this - control human population - less people - less burning of fuels - less trash - everything less!

Re: World Earth Day

Use what you need. Conserve what you can.

Re: World Earth Day

Yeah, I do hear Nature's call.

Re: World Earth Day

We need guppies who will send their kids to school/college by public vehicle or bicycle and who themselves will use the same for most of short distance travel, and raise a tree in their locality.

Re: World Earth Day

We can start with baby steps:

Every day I see people idling cars outside fast food, pharmacies, banks, Starbucks. When I go to the gym, I see young folks checking their smartphone while idling in parking lot. Everyday. Asked the folks at desk if they can put signs signs saying do not idle in parking lot. Their respknse- it is onky a few minutes.

At the coffee place, the gal had the tap running, while she was cutting veggies with her back to the tap.

We don't recycle. We waste. We use plastic bottles. The water use in office kitchen people use literally gallons to wash spoon. The same quantity a family in third world used for whole day

We are scumbags.

Re: World Earth Day

@Southie I used to park my bike to my garage without putting off it’s engine off. One day my neighbour said, beta tum motorcycle band karke, dharka ke bhi andar rakh sakte ho..petrol bachega..and from that day onwards whenever i come back to home I first put off my bike and then park it to garage.

Was that a tap, are you sure?.

Re: World Earth Day

I don’t understand question. Call it a faucet, tap, valve. The water was running.
