Aussies deserved to win this one, they played better in the first half and yet Japs got the lead with controversial goal.

Australia were the better team than Japan from my vantage point, but they certainly didn't dominate the game. Instead, the game went back and forth, with Japan at times looking more threatening while Australia looked more threatening at other times. Indeed, it was a pretty entertaining game in part because it did have this see-saw element to it.
While Australia's victory was not undeserved, the scoreline flattered Australia. If I could pick the score that would more accurately tell the story of this game, it would be something like 3:2. That score would tell you of Australia's advantage while making sure no one imagines it was some one sided affair. It wasn't.

As much as I hate to admit it, Brazil is playing really well in terms of the constant attacks. They aren't giving up!
I am also impressed by Croatia's defence. I hope the Brazilians are unable to break through.
