Brazil played really well today. Luckily for the other teams Cafu, Carlos and Adriano will return in the next match

Well done Socceroos. However I don't find their football attractive or competitive at all and Italy will be pleased to face them in the last 16 rather than Croatia.
Sad to see Croatia go, their fans were simply unbelievable to watch and I would have loved to have seen more of them :(

And Refree showed 3rd yellow Card to this Crotaion guy after the whistle. He forgot to show redcard when he showed Yellowcard for the 2nd time to same guy/

Best performance by Brazil thus far no doubt. Simple reason being eye catcing performances by Pony-tail freak and Robinho. Both were simply outstanding. There was one - two- between Ronnie and Robinho which resulted in a fierce shot by Robinho brilliantly saved by Jap keeper. Superb stuff that was. Ronaldo was a lot more involved and had good time scoring two goals. About to break all time record. Awesome!!! Brazilians are back. Sad that Czechs are out otherwise it could have been a fascinating contest.
Aussies progress was splendid. It was a very physical game between croatia and I am glad aussies prevailed. They were the better team during group stages and deserved to go through. too bad their run will be ended by Italy but still, qualifying from such a tough group is an incredible achievement.

Its indeed sad that Chekz are out. pavel nadved is a great player. Its a pity.
